1. Prep Your Hair: Start with freshly washed and conditioned hair. Blot excess water from your hair with a microfiber towel or an old cotton t-shirt. Your hair should be damp but not dripping wet.
2. Dispense the Gel: Shake the bottle well before use to ensure the ingredients are properly mixed. Dispense a small amount of gel into your palm. You can always add more gel as needed, so start with a small amount to avoid over-application.
3. Apply the Gel: Rub the gel between your palms to evenly distribute it. Then, apply the gel to your hair, focusing on the mid-lengths and ends. If you have longer hair, you may need to section your hair to ensure even distribution of the product.
4. Define Your Curls: Use your fingers to scrunch your hair upward to encourage curl formation and definition. Alternatively, you can use a wide-tooth comb or a denman brush to define your curls further.
5. Air Dry or Diffuse: Let your hair air dry or use a diffuser attachment on your hairdryer to dry your curls. If you're using a diffuser, use it on a low heat setting and gently cup your curls in the diffuser to enhance definition and volume.
6. Avoid Touching Your Hair: Once you've applied the gel and styled your curls, avoid touching your hair too much while it's drying to prevent frizz. You can gently scrunch your hair again once it's completely dry to soften any crunchiness from the gel.
7. Style as Desired: Once your hair is dry, you can style it further if needed. You can add more gel for extra hold or use additional styling products to enhance volume or smooth any frizz.
