Slight tacky consistency but amazing once you heat it up a bit with your hands. Helps me refresh my curls and feels like a mix between a gel and a moisteriser. Such a lifesaver between washes. Haven't used it to replace a gel on my washdays yet but i know you can use it for that too. Also smells great.
